Position Title: Electrician – Swing Shift
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three (3) years industrial electrical experience such as troubleshooting, maintaining, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing industrial process equipment
- Experience reading and understanding schematics, technical documents, and blueprints
- Experience utilizing electrical troubleshooting equipment tool (multimeter etc.)
- Experience using a computer to perform the following task: Email, data entry, and document creation
- Willing and able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Willing and able to work in a hot, cold, and noisy industrial environment
- Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
- Willing to work in small tight areas
- Experience working within company and state environmental and safety policies/procedures
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently holding electrician license or ability to obtain a license
- Experience with PLC-5 and Control Logic’s
- Five (5) years of electrical experience in preventative and corrective tasks related to the lumber manufacturing process
A Day in the life typically includes:
- Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Troubleshooting and repairing lumber manufacturing process equipment
- Following directions and guidance of manager and supervisor
- Work as a team to achieve safety, electrical, production, and quality goals

- Electronics troubleshooting: 1 yr. (Preferred)
- Programmable Logic Controllers: 1 yr. (Preferred)
- Computer/ Diagnostics skills: 1 yr. (Preferred)
Education:
- High School or equivalent
License:
- Journeyman Electrical License (Required) or be able to obtain one
Must pass drug and alcohol screening and background check
Salary: Starting $19.00 or DOE plus generous benefits package
